Nine warning signs before you deposit
The deposit is the last moment the money is still yours. These are the signs worth two minutes of your attention, drawn from the reports players sent us through mid 2026, in rough order of how loudly they should alarm you.
On the payment page itself
- The payment page lives on a different, unrelated domain. Real casinos use known payment processors or their own domain, not a random address with no name you recognize.
- Crypto only, one wallet address, no other option. Licensed casinos in most markets must offer regulated payment methods. A wallet address pasted into a chat is not a cashier.
- The minimum deposit is oddly low or the bonus climbs the more you send. Scam cashiers are tuned to harvest any amount, real cashiers have fixed, published limits.
- No mention of who processes the payment and no company name on the receipt page. You should be able to say who you just paid.
Around the deposit
- A countdown timer on the deposit bonus. Ten minutes to claim is not marketing, it is pressure engineering, and in our reports it correlates with sites that never pay.
- Support chats that push you to deposit before answering your actual question. Real support answers first.
- You got here through a link in a message, a social comment or an ad you did not go looking for. Reread that sentence, it describes most losses reported to us this year.
- The site asks you to deposit again before it releases earlier winnings. Money in should never be the condition for money out.
- Registration wanted almost nothing, no age check, no country check, deposit available instantly. Skipping the checks a license requires is a sign the license is not real.
If you count two or more signs
Stop. Do not deposit a test amount to see what happens, that is exactly the amount the site was built to collect. Run the full fake casino checklist, then verify the license at the source. Ten minutes of checking is cheaper than any lesson the site plans to teach you.
One caution in the other direction. A site can pass every check on this page and still treat you badly, slow payments, confiscated bonuses, dead support. These signs find scams, not bad manners. Verification of the license, covered next, is what separates a regulated casino you can complain about from an address that will simply go dark.
